The Smart Extrusion Technology

Twelve (12) extrusion sizes simplify design and construction. All sizes are completely compatible with each other including the use of common accessories (fewer components/less cost). Uniform slot size (largest in the industry) for the entire Modular Automation System (14 mm wide X 14 mm deep), provides a secure connection with a minimum of fastening components. The concave surface of the extrusions guarantees durable connections that do not vibrate loose. Maximum wall thickness at key points (no counter boring required) prevents crimping and maximizes overall strength of the completed assembly.

The Strong Fastening Technology

Robotunits offers maximum safety and integrity in your process through play-free, accurate, centrally aligned fastening technology- unique worldwide. Connections comparable to welded connections provide up to four (4) metric tons (8,800lbs.) tensile strength and do not require any drilling or machining- no counter bores. The unique centering insert coupled with the concave extrusion technology assures no loosening of bolts through vibration and 100% positioning accuracy. Drop in nuts with a special spring assembly protect against unintended movement and eliminate wasted time aligning bolt holes, just slide to stop position. Post assembly integration or repositioning of struts and/or accessories can be accomplished without dismantling the frame. Without holes, the length of the extrusion is the only measurement needed- simplifies drawings and assembly time.

Packaged Solutions from Robotunits

In addition to custom design and built to order frames, Robotunits offers several package solutions to support your automation and safe guarding projects.

Safety Fence Systems completely assembled to save you time including frame, wire mesh or panels, fasteners, and universal base are available ready to ship in less than one week. Standard widths from 516mm to 2003 mm or, elements with special widths are available. Standard height for fencing sections is 2000mm. All components meet the safety fence requirements under EN-Standards 292, 294, and 811. And, the units are designed to require only one person for on-site installation.

Belt Conveyor Systems may be designed on line at www.Robotunits.com to meet your individual requirements (length, width, speed, drive type, belt type, and slider bed) eliminating construction and administrative costs. Standard build time for your conveyor choice is one week. You can choose widths between 40mm and 1200mm, length to 6 meters (longer units available by special order), and speeds from 2.6m/min to 58m/min. There are also choices for variable speed solutions available.

Linear Motion Systems are designed using Robotunits 50mm aluminum extrusion product group and are offered in a 50x100mm or 100x100mm solution. Standard stoke maximum is 5600mm at a max velocity of 8m/sec. Typical positioning accuracy is plus or minus 0.2mm. The units are shipped complete with installed drive belt, carriage plate, guide rails, idlers, motor couplings, motor flange adapter, and required accessories ready to mount to your application.
